It represents an immense amount of surgical information, and for the thirty year period before 1838, it was the textbook of every surgical student. Good, bearing the old bookplate of a university library; the front joint of each volume has been professionally repaired, moderate foxing; still a handsome set.

A very nice copy, bearing the handstamp of Warrington Dispensary Library on the title and a few small stains here and there in the text.
